CCC Summer ROBOTICS and Computer Science Program! (SCHOLARSHIPS available to Bulkeley Students)

Program #1 Robotics:

Students will work individually and in teams to build and program VEX IQ snap-together robots. Students will learn STEM and engineering skills, including visual coding, through fun, hands-on activities. Participating students are provided lunch each day throughout the program.

August 2 – August 6, 9am – 3pm @ Capital
Cost: $200 (FREE for Hartford Students!)

Program #2 Programming:

Students will develop computational thinking and problem-solving skills through completing computer science activities and labs. Students will complete activities independently and collaborate with peers on a team projects.

How To Apply:

Scholarships

Need-based tuition-free scholarships are available for Hartford and East Hartford residents.

Transportation (Program #1 only)

Participating students must have their own transportation to and from the college.
Student Drop-Off begins at 8:40am. Student Pick-Up is between 3:00 and 3:30pm.

Application Process

Who Can Apply?

The Summer Computer Science Program is designed BOTH for students with no knowledge of computer science, and for students with previous knowledge. Previous knowledge is not required – what is required is an interest and eagerness to learn.
