Don’t forget to make a card for veterans (please share virtual cards with your seminar teachers), donate to the South Park Inn (Wishlist here: bit.ly/donateSPI), or bring in non-perishable food items for the St. Justin Blue Hills food pantry during this week!

Spirit Week 2020!!

This year’s Spirit Week, organized by BHS Student Samaris M., is a fundraiser for South Park Inn and St. Justin Blue Hills Food Pantry.

We’re focusing on the following organizations:

South End:
The organization representing the South End has a wish list linked where you or the students can order things from Walmart that would be shipped directly to them.

North End:
Boxes will be placed in the Main office at both campuses collecting non-perishable food items to be donated.

Alternative:
Students who cannot donate in clothes or food can write virtual holiday cards to veterans and share them with their seminar teachers to be printed and distributed (The team will handle the printing and distributing).

The Week of Giving is happening at the same time as Spirit week! The themes are explained in a Jam board as part of the presentation.

Monday: Holiday Sweater day
Tuesday: Twin Day
Wednesday: Funky Hat/Headband day
Thursday: Tacky /Crazy Sock Day
Friday: Dress like a Disney Character day!

We want to encourage staff to dress up and model for students! We would also like for you to encourage your seminar students to share pictures of themselves participating in Spirit Week or in the donations so that can be shared and be posted on the school website! Please share photos that students share with you to me or the rest of the culture and climate team!
