We had two staff members in each building test positive over the holiday, however, they had not been in school since Dec. 23. One of the letters was posted and sent out last week for our Undergraduate Campus and the one for the Graduate Campus is listed below in this communication because it was confirmed over the weekend.
We continue to take all precautions and follow all protocols, so please call our nurses directly if you or our students have come in close contact or tested positive for COVID-19. Our goal is to continue to support our students and families. Our nurses are medical professionals who can also provide a great deal of information for you.
If your child has been diagnosed with COVID-19, please let our school nurses know. Parents of students in the Undergraduate Campus (9th, 10th, or the Princeton Pathway), please call 860-695-1099 or email our nurse Emily Rasgo at emily.carroll@hartfordschools.org. Parents of students in the Graduate Campus (the 11th, 12th, or RISE program), please call 860-695-1112 email our nurse Judith Moskal-Kanz at moskj001@hartfordschools.org.
Our main telephone number at the Undergraduate Campus is still 860-695-1009, and at the Graduate Campus, it is 860-695-1118. Please call us with any questions or concerns. For additional parent support in English or Spanish please call Myrna Metayer (Rivera) at 860-695-1225 at the graduate campus, or Brandon Elvas at 860-695-3427 at the Undergraduate Campus.
We also want to inform you that due to the pandemic the district canceled the midterms for regular classes, and there will be no separate midterm grade on the report card. If you have any questions, please contact your teachers or check PowerSchool for updates. You can also find helpful information on our school website at https://bulkeley.hartfordschools.org, and find us on Facebook. Students will follow their regular school schedule during the last week of January and the marking period ends on January 29th.
Sincerely,
Digna A. Marte
