On May 31st, students from Bulkeley High School North and South Campuses went to the Convention Center to attend Hartford Public Schools' STEM Fair! 23 schools and almost 400 students attended. The schools all brought incredible projects about the excellent work they've been doing in their Science, Technology, and Scholastic Esports classes. Bulkeley had students representing all of those! Take a look at the students and their projects!
Students who attended a previous Sisters in Stem field trip, Angelin Gomez Velez, Bintu Mansaray, Yaneli Mendez Velez, Gaige Ramirez, and Celenny Santos celebrated some of the women in STEM at BHS - Ms Holloway, Mrs Perez, Ms Rankin, Mrs Smith, and Dr Moses! Read their encouraging words above.
They did an incredible job presenting their work to attendees, among them BHS alumni and Superintendent Dr. Torres Rodirguez! And they won medals!
BHS Esports Team, the Dawg Knights, represented by David Lopez and Jensen Rivera, fought valiantly in the exhibition tournament.
Our students and staff represented BHS and did an amazing job! We hope you'll get involved in STEM next year!
